The concept behind Culture Beats is to dive into the musical heritage of different parts of the world. The producers were given a task to use sonic references from their respective culture (sounds, instruments, samples) and do their magic with it, converting the musical canons of their country to lo-fi beats, giving it a fresh spin. Starting off with the mediterranean area, this time we’re going to cool off and head north. Eight producers out of Northern Europe created a soundtrack for our trip.
