We’re excited to present ‘Otterly Monkey Business’ – a full-length collab project by Jasada and Jökull Logi that pierces together influences from different worlds – lo-fi, modern alt r&b, ambient and jazz.
Disguised as a lo-fi beattape, the album offers so much more to the listener: complex harmonies and intricate rhythms and impeccable taste for sound, translated in the most listener-friendly and enjoyable way, presented in a laid back and nonchalant manner. From the ethereal “Be My Woman” to the wonky “Miss Baker”, head-nodding “Ode to Oddbrand” or summery “Slanted” with a perfectly placed rap feature – every track here is done meticulously and tastefully, adding colours to the main story.
